XML Editor for Windows
EditiX is a Windows-compatible, free and open-source XML editor. It ships as a ZIP binary that you launch with the run.bat script; all you need is a Java 8+ runtime.
EditiX is one of the few XML editors that are fully free and open source, and it includes a complete toolkit: XSLT, XQuery, XSD, JSON and local AI.
What this feature covers
- Launch with the run.bat script (double-click or terminal).
- Requires Java 8+ (verify with “java -version”).
- EditiX stores its configuration in the \editix folder of your home directory.
- Free and open source (GNU GPL); the source code is available on GitHub and can be built with Ant.
